Action Games Paintball is hiring to fill open positions for the coming Fall Season. Our staff serve guests as paintball officials, safety guides, coaches, and point-of-sales associates. We must fill positions for Weekend shifts. Bonus considerations will be given to those who can work the occasional weekday session.

 

Expectations:

Arrive 1 hour prior to guest arrival (usually 9 am on weekends)

Equipment set up

Maintain a clean and presentable guest reception area (Safe Zone)

Assist guests with equipment usage

Escort players to and from the paintball grounds

Diligently Monitor for Safety during games

Consistently remind players of rules

Respond accordingly to guests' needs

Coach and encourage players to get the most out of their experience

Post-game clean up

Physical Demands:

On your feet for 6.25 hours

A fair bit of walking, jogging, and maybe some sprinting

Lifting up to 30 lbs

 

A typical day starts at 9, guests arrive to play throughout the day, Refs greet them, take them to the playing grounds, watch for safety and fair play, enforce rules by assessing penalties if necessary. Games end by 3:10 pm, Refs then collect gear, put it all away, clean up any garbage.

 

This is a fast-paced environment. There's very little down-time.

Physically fit to meet the demands of the job

Comfortable working with children, teenagers, (and their parents) and adults

Enjoys working outdoors in all New England weather (hot, cold, rain, shine)

You have a naturally "loud" voice, and you are not afraid to raise it to shout "KEEP YOUR MASK ON!!

Nice to haves:

Prior experience playing and/or officiating paintball or airsoft

Prior experience officiating other team sports

Prior experience working with children

Prior experience working as an entertainer, guest services associate, bartender
